This is the staggeringly lovely arrangement of handmade chocolates that Kana gave to me on Valentine's Day. She messed with me by first giving me a really tacky, cheap store-bought present, then said "just kidding!" and pulled this one out. I was speechless. Inside, there were cookies made with different colored doughs, and chocolate tarts decorated with gold leaf. I had always wondered what kind of thing I might get if I ever managed to have a Japanese girlfriend on Valentine's Day, but this went way beyond my expectations.
